The Resume 20/20 team has a great deal of experience in human resources selection and placement. We have developed job boards and social networking sites and work live with clients looking to hire talent everyday. We’ve also spent years working inside companies and organizations hiring and assessing talent. We’ve learned several very important things that led us to develop Resume 20/20:
  1. Organizations are very restricted by their hiring methods and information they can require of candidates. This means they are mostly limited to posting jobs, collecting resumes, and having candidates apply for jobs on their career sites going through their applicant tracking systems in order to comply with very strict federal rules.
  2. Once an organization identifies someone as a candidate, even though they may only have looked at a job opening, these rules come into play.
  3. Once an organization decides to contact an applicant, they are also restricted on the information they may ask in interview questions.
While these rules are definitely in existence for good reasons, they restrict companies from learning more about people and their talents. Things that are critical to helping determine someone’s interest, success, and overall whether they will be a good match for a job.

Most recruiting now takes place on the internet. While some Talent Scouts have reached out to people through social networking sites, that is not a good way to collect information because most people have not put their information up on social networking sites for the purpose of Talent Scouts finding them.

Other important facts:
  1. An applicant has a 1 in 1000 chance of getting contacted from any job they post for on the web using the major job boards.
  2. Companies have no way of using assessment methods on the internet once someone looks at a specific job.
  3. Hiring Managers – Talent Scouts must plow through thousands of resumes looking at the standard information: Work history and Education. Period.
  4. What Talent Scouts desperately need is information readily available for them to easily connect with people, get to know them, in advance of being a candidate. In other words, getting Introductions Before the Interview.

Resume 20/20. The Introduction before the Interview.

The way Resume 20/20 works is that people who may be actively or passively thinking about a job search voluntarily provide a Talent Scout with everything they would like to know but are restricted from asking once someone is a candidate.

Our team has worked in the recruiting field for over 30 years and have experienced first-hand what Talent Scouts face everyday. The difficulty of sifting through tons of resumes and getting only basic information.

What Talent Scouts Really Want to Know:

That’s how our team designed Resume 20/20. It’s an experience in getting to know your own unique wants, needs, and aspirations. It’s a way for you to package yourself up all ready to meet Talent Scouts who can then decide whether or not to get to know you better and ask you to apply for a job.
Volunteering information about oneself has no rules. No restrictions. Presenting yourself as a fully assessed, performance package ready to roll saves them tremendous time. It also helps both parties to get into more productive work relationships.

Resume2020™ was developed for you as:
  1. A Better Way to introduce yourself
  2. A Better Way to increase your “fit” with a job
  3. A Better Start to getting a job

You present yourself ready for introduction. Assess yourself. Tell them anything you want them to know about you. You are not limited by a resume format. Talent Scouts find you, or you can invite someone you want to know more about you to the site to see your Resume 20/20 Profile.

There is no better path to success. Get More Interviews with Resume 20/20.
